We can help you to develop systems to manage and recycle cowshed or other kinds of effluent to reduce the smell and make it a valuable fertiliser on your land. The objective is to stabilise the nitrogen content, for slower controlled release over time.

The biodynamic compost preparations can be added to activate micro-organisms and aerate the slurry. Recycling through Virbela flowforms also provides aeration. This will reduce odours and speed up decomposition so that the effluent can be put back on the pasture to enhance growth. Circulate for about eight hours then spray back on the pasture - but not when there is a high winter water table.
