Field day for farmers and home gardeners On: Thursday, 2 February 10.30 am – 3.30 pm At: near Riverton - Strudwickes Farm near Limehill School
Discussions led by Peter Bacchus: the importance of oxygen in soil fertility the biodynamic preparations, how and when they are used on gardens and farms the conditions in which weeds flourish and ways to change those conditions We will build a cow manure heap (for improving soil fertility) and make a weed tea (for weed management) and add biodynamic preparations to them Morning and afternoon tea provided. Please bring your own lunch. Cost to cover expenses: $10 each, $15/couple
