DISCUSSION GROUPS
Peter is running 2 biodynamic dairy farm field-day and
discussion group meetings for the Organic Dairy and
Pastoral Group. At each of these days we look at the
soil, pasture and animals and discuss the farm work
programme.
Upcoming Waikato field day, to which all farmers are welcome:
On: Thursday, 9 September 10.00am - 2.30 pm
At: The Perretts' farm 95 Rice Road, Te Rore
off Kakaramea Road
Main Topics:
- Mating and calving
- using moon and planet rhythms in timing mating
- Managing feed in extreme climate conditions
Also includes farm walk, observation of stock, pasture and soil
Donations to cover expences appreciated
