Peter Bacchus works both as a farm consultant and as a human health practitioner. These fit together well as good health begins in the soil and works into our human well being.
Farm consultancy Peter Bacchus has long experience in dairy farming and horticulture. He also had a large-scale compost-making business and has made compost under contract to growers. Peter has studied biological farming methods and soil mineral balancing and works as a Brookside Laboratories soil consultant. He mixes this knowledge with a long practical experience of biodynamic and organic farming and gardening. He has worked with homeopathic sprays made from biodynamic preparations in agriculture and horticulture for many years. This enables him to troubleshoot problems and to recommend amendments and sprays for soil and plants to achieve specific outcomes. He can also advise on organic and biodynamic systems for those who want to work with those methods. Each year Peter tutors on making the biodynamic preparations at practical workshops and discussion group field days.
Peter brings a biological/ organic approach to all pest and disease management problems. He can help you achieve a productive unit and a more relaxed life-style.
Human health Peter spent some time growing medicinal plants for Weleda herbal and homeopathic medicines. Later he experienced exhaustion and health problems and was introduced to therapeutic massage techniques. He has combined other techniques including acupressure, reflexology and polarity balancing, to offer a health service at the level a person requires it.
