ASTROLOGICAL WEATHER FORECASTING
For a few people the weather is a fascinating subject, for many more it impacts on their professional lives and incomes. We have now entered a period of time when extremes are going to be normal. Much can be done to prepare for the extremes if we know far enough in advance. [see field day News] Peter uses the knowledge of how the planets and fixed stars around us influence climatic events on the Earth, together with an ephemeris that shows the positions of the planets for many years ahead. These enable him to predict future weather conditions.
Forecast for the spring 2011 season
Mars will be opposed to Neptune on 8 November, which should bring some rain. This may not occur exactly on that day. The full moon following shortly after this should generate very good growth. This season has been fortunate that we have had a number of full moon rain events.
On 21 November the sun is squared to Neptune and on 24 Novmber Mercury retrogrades in the constellation of Scorpio. These bring the possibility of more showers or rain.
