ASTROLOGICAL WEATHER FORECASTING
For a few people the weather is a fascinating subject, for many more it impacts on their professional lives and incomes. We have now entered a period of time when extremes are going to be normal. Much can be done to prepare for the extremes if we know far enough in advance. [see field day News] Peter uses the knowledge of how the planets and fixed stars around us influence climatic events on the Earth, together with an ephemeris that shows the positions of the planets for many years ahead. These enable him to predict future weather conditions.
Forecast for the 2010 season
The planet Persephone (beyond Pluto) is currently opposite Neptune. This is likely bring cold weather, including snow and hail, particularly to those area exposed to the south. This influence is likely to continue for 3 - 4 years, so we can expect several well spaced cold and heavy rain events per year – roughly in May to August and also in November and February. In September expect a cold, wet southerly wind.
